The go-anywhere wintertime hoody, the Patagonia Slopestyle Hoody for Men is the ideal insulation when waxing early in the morning, then later as outerwear when making afternoon corn runs. Its soft, stretchy 100% polyester face has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish for weather- and wind-resistance. Inside, a plush microfleece lining takes care of moisture and glides smoothly over bare skin. A supple hood (not helmet-compatible) adds warmth when you're returning from last call. Cuffs have thumb-loops to ensure wrist coverage, and two handwarmer pockets warm cold digits. A drawcorded hem keeps your heat where it belongs.

Fantabulous! I got this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, and he loves it. The sleeves are long enough (too-short sleeves are sometimes a problem for him), and it's very well cut in general. I thought the outside might be too stiff/rough, but it's not at all! He uses it as an outer layer while snowboarding, as well as just around town. It's not really that thick, though, so it's good if you like to use multiple layers (another fleece under it). I would definitely recommend this sweatshirt!

Great sweatshirt/outer layer Overall I was very pleased with this sweatshirt. The quality is great, and it's very comfortable. I actually ordered several different sizes as gifts for groomsmen in my wedding (and one for myself). It's hard to tell which size is right online sometimes, and especially having ordered so many different sizes for this sweatshirt I can say that it runs big. This might work fine if you're planning to use it as more of a top layer like a jacket, but as a sweatshirt to wear around the house it's pretty baggy.
