So good that I bought them again. I just spent my vacation in my second pair of these shoes. The first set obviously satisfied. They lasted about 2 1/2 years, being worn at least 2 days a week in every conceivable circumstance, from painting the house to hiking Mayan ruins. I never once found them lacking.

Love this shoe I'm on my third pair and I'm thinking about buying another color. This is my "not at work" shoe and I practically live in them. I love the comfort and the styling. And the price I got from Altrec is the best I found on the web. I'm 100% satisfied with the product I received and the service I got from Altrec.

sounds great but is only fair1 a removable footbed, does not qualify this shoe as anything special. It runs narrow and there is no volume space for your foot due to the insert. It seems to me they added a footbed to a Newport and now think they have an off trail shoe. Very disappointing.
