great gaiter for its intended use! This is a nice, very lightweight gaiter for spring/summer/fall hikes. It breathes well first of all. I like that the material is very stretchy - that makes it fit snugly on trail runners to my large hiking boots. The material is tough, but these aren't made for total abuse. Backcountry travel in heavy brush will probably rip these up a lot quicker than some 500D cordura for instance.. but if you don't find yourself spending hours off trail in heavy heavy cover, these are fantastic your general hiking, trail running, light snow, just as it is advertised.
