Proven around the world, Carlisle's tough, maintenance-free, quality aluminum shafts give you maximum strength and performance. The 1-7/8" diameter thick-walled tempered aluminum tubing is sheathed in colorful, abrasion-resistant polyethylene tubing. 8' and longer oars have reinforced inner shafts for extra-duty strength. Rubber grips cushion the molded plastic handles. Removable blades permit easy storage and transport.

Very good oar for my particular use. I use these oars for my 18' Alumaweld Sled powered by a 115 hp jet. They were too short to begin with, but the 1ft extension and the blade made them perfect. Oars with a jet boat. Yes! Jets break down and you need to be able to get to shore or home! Carlisle makes a strong enough oar to handle this heavy sled with relative ease. Love the snap together features of extension and blades. Especially on the Klamath River where I live and run my boat. Yeah, I chase steelhead.
