For best results with your Jetboil Personal Cooking System, use Jetboil's JetPower Fuel, a high-performance propane/isobutane four-season blend. Propane provides higher vapor pressure to the fuel for better performance in cold weather. Iso-butane provides more constant pressure as the fuel level gets low. Jetpower 230g canisters will not stow in 1L cook cup, but you get a lot more bang for your buck if you have a bit more space in your pack.

Much better! Went camping with my son's class, and we boiled LOTS of water from a cold well (i.e. coffee for 8 adults x 3 days, water for pasta, etc) without exhausting our first 230g fuel canister! Much better deal than the 100g containers while also more stable and less packaging waste per oz of fuel. Only downside is that it doesn't fit inside the cup for tight packing, but keeping it outside the cup eliminates the risk of rust stains. So if you've got room in the pack (or you're car camping), this is far superior to the 100g canister.
