Excellent glove but not a liner I have been looking for a liner that also prevented wind. Nothing worse when in extreme cold and wind (winter mountain climbing) than taking off your primary mitten and having a liner like merino wool that let's the wind through. So I got these. They do a great job however they are a little thick to truly be a liner. I would say these will work well as a primary glove when a full mitten isn't required.
