Great protection on walks in snow,ice and salt covered pathes These boots are great for my Weimaraner during our walks on the snowy, ice and salt covered sidewalks. I no longer have to worry about the salt burning her pads or snow getting clumped up. How ever I would not advise them for jogging or running on ice or snow since the dog does not have use of her nails for tracktion. They are a little hard to get on but with some patience they will go on and stay on if you messured corectly and tighten down the velcro strap. They does seem pricey but I believe they will last a few years. The rubber pad on the bottom is thicker than any that I have seen in pet store. At first she tried to get the boots off but once we start walking outside it seems that she does not even know she has them on.

They do not stay on. I have tried the xxxs for my dogs 1.5" paws. They are suppose to fit 1.25"-1.5". If I crank down the strap all the way my dog crys in pain and they still fall off when he runs. I tried the xxs 1.5" -2". Those went on easier and he did not cry when I tightened the strap but they definately fell off. I also tried the Grip Tech. Both products are well made and I wish they stayed on so my dog could use them. I think the cuff design should go up the leg farther so the could be secured better.

Too hard to put on I have another pair of Ruff Wear boots for my dog that are just great, but these have a "cuff" like those at the end of sweatshirt sleeves, that makes them very hard to get on, especially on squirmy dogs or puppies. The other style is PERFECT, I don't know why they changed them.
