Loved them I took these on a 2 day trip through the Zion Narrows (in water 80% of the time) wearing them with smartwool socks and they were great. My feet stayed warm with the socks and the shoes performed very well. Then I wore them 2 days later on a 2 day trip down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and they were great for that as well. Finally, two weeks later, I wore them on a 3 day trip up to 12,000 feet in Colorado and they were great. They drain very well, hold up to a lot of abuse, the laces tighten well and stay that way, they are very light, and the rubber on the bottom is sticky when wet. Now, things to know. They are light weight hikers, so they have thin soles. After 10 hours hiking on rocks in water in Zion, I definitely started to get fatigue in my feet. They started to feel every rock I walked on. They are also very low shoes so there's no ankle support and rocks get into your shoes easily. That being said, they were what I wanted. I'll trade the lightness of them for a thicker sole any day. I love that I don't have to find rocks to cross rivers now, I just wade right through. Cools my feet off and they dry quickly as I move on. I'm very glad I have them.

Armchair canoeing I own a large fish farm so these things were wet several hours per day. They last about 4 to 5 months under those conditions. Salomons last even less time. Crap like this is for the 3 times a year "otdoorsman" crowd. If you live the life get some Muckboot brand or something.
