Synthetic Thermacore™ insulation offers low bulk heat retention, while the laminated ballistic nylon Storm-lite® fabric blocks out everything but the unlucky warm front downpour. The Burton Chopper women's snowboard jacket also features a removable Contour™ hood with cinch adjustment that stays in place when shredding the slopes at high speed or riding the lift when the wind is blowing hard. Likewise, a waist gaiter, jacket-to-pant interface, and hem cinch keep cold drafts and spindrift from blasting in through the bottom of the coat.
