Good gloves, bad combination First off, these gloves are far better than my old Marmot gloves. They are made for boarding, fit well, and do the job they're made to do. The gloves look nice on the outside, and have the features and inside performance to make them better than the average glove. My trouble with these is with the liner gloves. Because they have the sticky stuff on the palm in the liner, getting the liners to work inside the glove is a small feat, and not something I'd want to do more than once a month. To top that off, because the liner gloves are so tight (I got a Medium, and that's the right size, a Large would've been way big on me) if your hands are slightly damp - sweat much? - then you'll have issues getting the liner glove back on. What does this mean? If you stop at the top of the lift to take a scenic photo, and remove your gloves, good luck getting them back on. Because of this issue, I picked up a pair of wicking liners, and have loved the gloves since doing that. If you're looking at these, I still recommend them because for $75, plus $10 for new liners, you still get two great pairs of gloves. The liners could be used by themselves for spring skiing no problem, as you wouldn't need to take the liners off to do things with your hands. When you get these, just know that getting the liners into the glove is tough, but if you add some all cloth liner gloves to the Burton shell gloves, you'll be very happy with your purchase.
