steal of a deal! Purchased this towards the end of the season for a great price and I still managed to use it once after a big snow dump at Marmot ski resort. I think it's the better jackets I've used for snowboarding. It's comfortable, warm and light. The weather that day was about -15cel with a slight wind chill and it kept me warm the entire time. For the times it got a little hot all I had to do was open the pit zips. I came across some reviews online saying this jacket was heavy but I disagree. It's no heavier than my TNF Condor triclimate jacket. For the price and benefits of this jacket I think it's one of the best bang for your buck purchases.

Great looking, comfortable and really warm! The first time I zipped this jacket up I knew I was wearing something special. I find that The North Face took great care with the details of this jacket, from the pocket o/s the zipper (which I use for a cell phone), the hand warmer pocket lining and the solid and seemingly ergonomic zipper hand hold. Beyond that the jacket is incredibly warm, great looking and warm. Could not be more satisfied.

Very warm, stylish, cheap material... the material the shell is made out of is kind of thin..for $300, i think it should be a more durable material..but overall i like the coat..its very warm, it looks good, its pretty water resistant
