Best Parka around!! I had been looking to buy the McMurdo Parka for awhile now. Always looking around for a deal or sale. I finally decided to buy the jacket from Altrec when I saw it on sale. Living in the northeast, it's always a good idea to have that one super warm jacket that will protect you for the brutal cold. I had owned another parka which just wasn't doing the job. After I finally got the McMurdo, I just waited for that bitter cold day to arrive. This jacket is fantastic. I wore a t-shirt underneath with this jacket on, you still stay nice and toasty. If you wear the hood then you can't even tell it's blistering cold outside. The jacket feels nice too, very comfortable, well made. I like all the internal pockets since I need places to carry my phone, mp3 player, etc. I highly recommend this jacket to everyone looking to stay warm in the winter.

Great deal Great deal, it's very warm and design is pretty good. The size is a little bit big, I usually wear XL size, but this L size is enough to me.

down parka with hood good down parka, good hood with phaux fur. too, too much velcro and label claims only a certain per cent to be down. once you remove all the velcro, it is a good parka in the cold weather. it has a waterproof membrane, but it is too warm to wear if it is raining and not below freezing. I do not understand TNF, they put snaps on the wind flap and velcro everywhere else. they should have snapped some of the internal pockets, not velcro. Internal cuff in sleeve works well, why velcro on the outside?
