Call in sick, then take this hoody for a test run. It?s back, after much clamoring from our most active customers and ambassadors alike. Technical, warm, breathable and mobile, it has every key feature that avid climbers and backcountry skiers need ? from the highly refined, stretchy and now earth-friendly R1 fabric (made with recycled polyester), to the snug-fitting balaclava-style hood and sleeve-holding, snow-blocking thumb loops. Raglan sleeves stay clear of pack straps for shoulder comfort, and the external placement of the stretch-mesh, welded-in chest pocket (with a welded-in zipper) allows next-to-skin comfort. With low-grid stretch polyester under the arms, at the wrist cuffs and around the long bottom hem for minimal bulk under a harness. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program. The slim fit leaves room for a light baselayer.

• R1?: 6.5-oz 98% polyester (60% recycled), 2% spandex (Polartec? Power Dry?), treated with a wicking finish. Stretch panels: 5.3-oz 98% polyester (50% recycled), 2% spandex. 100% recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program

• Jersey microfiber face for low-friction, non-binding layering; Balaclava-style hood, with elastic-bound opening, fits snug
• Center-front zipper is offset at top (in opposite direction of our technical shells) for smooth layering and next-to-chin comfort, and opens extra deep for enhanced ventilation; Raglan sleeves allow shoulder comfort under pack straps
