Spyder: Rival Jacket

Redesigned with new fabrics, Spyder's versatile and waterproof Rival Jacket features zip-off sleeves with a handy storage pocket in back that holds the sleeves until the weather changes. Spyder added armhole wind cuffs along the shoulder openings to reduce wind penetration, but unlike shell and microshell convertible jackets, the Rival offers consistent insulation throughout the torso (although some might think that it's a little too warm on some spring skiing days). Unlike some ski hooded ski jackets, the Rival Jacket has a removable rollaway hood that cleanly tucks into the elevated collar. This configuration works well for guys who ski with helmets and don't require a hood in all but the most extreme downpours. Inside the Rival you'll find extras like a music player pocket, mesh goggle pocket, attached chamois lens wipe and more. The Rival is a great choice for skiers who ski in varied big mountain conditions, or tend to hit the slopes most during the late winter and spring.
