Spyder: Leader Jacket

Even if you're not a mountain ski guide, you can still enjoy pro-level durability and weatherproof protection. Spyder's Leader Jacket is tough enough to take on the challenges of dodging frozen tree limbs on gladed runs, or the fun of leading the local ski school kids back down to the mountain to the day lodge for burgers and fries. The Leader Jacket is similar to Spyder's Avenger Jacket, but the Leader has a hardened polyester dobby weave shell fabric instead of the stretch twill weave. Like other Spyder insulated jacket designs, the Leader is loaded with ski features, including a removable heavy weather hood that neatly tucks into the back storage pocket when not in use. The powder skirt zips outs and features a special Lycra® panel for added stretch. Beneath the sleeves you'll find waterproof zippers that open for convenient venting. Inside you'll find a mesh goggle pocket and a custom chamois lens wipe attached to a retractable shock cord. The radio pocket even has a weatherproof antenna opening--just in case you ever need that sort of thing.
