Joy Rider Rips I've been skiing for over twenty years, grew up in Vermont, now live in Virginia, and get out West as much as I can. I'm used to a wide variety of conditions and terrain. The Roxy Joy Rider is a rippin' ski for strong, athletic skiers. It has an extremely tight turning radius, so it's fun and fast, especially on hard packed. The great thing about this ski is, even though it has a deep side cut, with the 74mm waist, and wide shovel, it handles very well in most conditions - hardpacked, ice, crud, soft snow. The only times you are limited are deeper snow and bumps. The tip likes to hook up too quickly in bumps- and let's face it, with deep powder, we want those fat skis! If you want to rip in up and love to carve turns, jump on these babies!
