All of the SPi's killer features are built around Ride's Aluminum Response R2 System, a binding chassis architecture specifically optimized for all-mountain freeride applications. This season Ride replaced their FlatBack Highback with a new PowerFlex Highback (it still has a tool-free forward adjust, but it's lighter). They also added a new Balance Core Ankle Pad with tool-free center adjustment. The extra ankle padding doesn't just improve the fit, it also enhances the response with better contact points along your boot. Along the straps you'll find Ride's redesigned Revolver Grip-Zone Ratchets, a patented barrel ratchet design that provides four to five clicks per throw. The Revolver Ratchet release system is even faster than before and allows for smooth exits in seconds.
