Redesigned with new 90 A Slimewalls for durability and control, the highly responsive Ride Women's Vista snowboard feels expensive, but costs hundreds less than the performance boards that deliver similar pop and power. The Vista is made for advanced and expert women riders and features Ride's stiffer Response Tuned Core and a Carbon Array 3 design. The Carbon Array 3 is a group of three carbon stringers that radiate out from beneath the binding zone to both sides of the tip and tail. The carbon stringers transmit any pressure (that bending that indicates an intended turn) beneath the binding area and move the energy to the opposing contact point on the snowboard, making turns faster and more responsive than conventional wood core snowboard designs. The new 90 A Slimewalls offer the same feel as last season's popular 85 A Slimewalls, but there's better response from this urethane sidewall technology, so it absorbs abuse and vibrations instead of making you ride through the unsettling impacts. Just like the boards that cost more, the Vista has Ride's 45-Degree Thin Construction Sidewall to smooth out the rough edges in the terrain park and groomed runs. The 45-degree sidewall complements aggressive riding styles without dumbing-down the performance for advanced riders. Some snowboards beef up the durability with a burly 90-degree sidewall that you find on recreational boards, but the 45-degree sidewall on the Vista snowboard offers better edge hold--especially on packed terrain--and quickly transitions for edge-to-edge performance. The 45-Degree Thin Construction Sidewall also tapers along the Vista's tip and tail for a lower swing weight that makes it easier to rotate while popping above the pipe. Beneath the performance refinements is an ultra-fast Fusion 4000 base, a hard, durable and fast base with more pores to hold wax than the 1500 grade extruded and 1000 grade extruded fusion bases. The Women's Vista has the one of the fastest bases made by Ride, but the combination of great features for a practical price that's tough to pass up.
