The core is wrapped in a Biaxial fiberglass construction along the top and bottom that features stitching at 90-degree angles for lightweight durability. Unlike other snowboard companies that use woven fiberglass, the stitched fiberglass construction on Ride snowboards are flatter and more consistent for durability that surpasses conventional snowboard designs. Along the Fleetwood's base you'll find Ride's 1500 grade extruded fusion base, a faster base that's 25% harder than the 1000 grade extruded bases found on recreational snowboards. 1500 Grade Base easily absorbs wax and facilitates repairs and performance tuning.
