MSR's MiniWorks™ Filter is one of the most cost-effective and user-friendly water filters on the market. This compact and lightweight filter features an opposing-action lever that is easier to use than bike-pump-style water filters. An Activated Block Carbon Filter inside the pump removes many chemicals, including pesticides, iodine and chlorine from the water. It even removes most odors and improves the taste of the water you're pumping. The US Marines adopted the MiniWorks microfilter for global use by the Amphibious Raids and Reconnaissance Division.

This is a must have I expected the water to taste nasty. I have had pipe water that taste worse. I was able to fill a sports bottle in a little over a minute(took it slow). IT is very light and compact. It beats carrying excess supplies of water backpacking.

quick and easy quick to setup and pump water. easy to work and clean. No problems with bacteria problems.

ok first reviewer must work for them., not as easy to pump as you might expect from the box or other. Still better than iodine, aqua pur etc.. Still a good buy at anything below 100 bucks, but lets not go crazy. it does what it is supposed to. Flow isn't that fast. You will now you are working.
