Description

Burton: Bullet Snowboard - Altrec.com Product Description:

Developed with the same formula (and similar low price!) that made the Clash a huge success on groomed runs, the Burton Bullet is a wider version designed for new, recreational and experienced riders with size 10 boots and larger. It's an appealing freeride design built with durable components that give you a better deal than the value-line releases that rarely last a season or two. The Bullet features Burton's Super Fly core, a strategic balance of lighter woods in specific areas for better response and denser woods where support is essential. If you had x-ray vision you could see that the wood grain along the toe and heel edges runs perpendicular to the rest of the wood core in a design called DualZone™ Edge Grain Direction, a process that enhances edging while adding durability. Bi-directional layers in the Biax React fiberglass give the board a little more flex than boards with Triax fiberglass, giving you a little more forgiveness when you need it. The Lightspeed Vision Base offers an incredibly smooth extruded base that can glide even without wax. The "Vision" in the name means that you'll never have to worry about others looking at dull graphics when you pop high off a berm. Keep in mind that the Bullet has a negative core profile, not an even core profile that sometimes offers more stability to beginners. The negative core profile could lengthen the learning curve a tad for some riders, but the advantage is that new riders learn how to control the board through independent foot control sooner than riders who later transition (with added expense) to a negative core snowboard. Because most Burton boards feature a negative core profile, transitioning from a Burton to a more advanced design doesn't require much adaptation. The larger 164-cm. Bullet supports bigger boys who weigh over 210 lbs without dragging their feet through tight toe-side turns.

This board is fantastic for those with big feet. I was looking for a board that would fit my 11.5 boot, help me progress through learning the sport and allow me to ride all conditions. I found just that in the Burton Bullet 162. See you out there.

The Burton Bullet is a very good all around board. This board is great for all kinds of riding. I've only been riding 1 year, but it is able to handle big mountain riding as well as rails and the terrain park with ease. The handling is pretty good from my experience riding it..although it is a little slow on responce. All around it CARVES LIKE A DREAM..i highly recommend this board to all that dig wider boards.

Is this Useful? - Yes - No ( 1 of 3 thought this was useful.)
