Description

Burton: Tadashi Fuse Snowboard - Altrec.com Product Description:

If you've seen Tadashi Fuse on film or in person at Whistler, British Columbia, this is his ride. Burton's Tadashi Fuse is a unique design of durable park-oriented features with enough versatility for the backcountry that extends beyond the glacier T-bars and those other spaces where the weekend warriors from Vancouver and Seattle rarely dare to shred. While advanced park boards like the White Collection are agile and (to some riders) twitchy, this snowboard has a smoother demeanor without the dumbed-down beginner features. This season Burton refined the Tadashi Fuse with a Park Fly II wood core so the snowboard has blended woods for durability where you need it and fewer grams where mass doesn't matter as much. This even core twin-tip also has Burton's highly durable 10:45 Sidewalls with two distinct angles for durability that you can abuse while jibbing without a lot of guilt or worry. Beneath everything is the fast, low-maintenance sintered Vision base--a prime pick for advanced riders who like to go fast but don't have the spare cash or time for tuning their boards after every trip to the mountain. If there's one small drawback, it's that the highly specialized Tadashi Fuse is available only in 154-cm. length, so if you weigh more than 175 lbs. with all your snowboard gear on, you might need to opt for something different, like the skate-inspired Jeremy snowboard.

  • Burton "feel" rating: 5 on a scale of 1 to 7
  • Excellent park performance potential with durability that also works in the spring backcountry
  • Designed for advanced riders, but suitable for aggressive intermediates who don't want to grow out of their snowboard within a couple of seasons
  • Specifically created in one size: 154 cm.
  • Nose/waist/tail widths in 154 cm.: 289/246/289 mm.
  • Sidecut radius in 154 cm.: 7.57 m. (same as last year)
  • Stance width in 154 cm.: 530 mm.
  • Burton Pro Tip profiled tip and tail reduces swing weight
  • Rugged Park Fly II wood core mixes lighter and stronger wood where you need it
  • Twin tip shape with even core profile for consistent flex and feel throughout the entire length of the board
  • Dualzone™ Edge Grain Direction at toe and heel edges for enhanced edging
  • 10:45 Sidewalls features two distinct angles for durability that meets the needs of aggressive riders
  • Proven Biax™ React fiberglass construction
  • Burton Infinite Ride® technology for consistent and lasting flex
  • Sintered Vision base adds speed and also takes plenty of abuse
  • Suggested weight range: 125-175 lbs. (57-80 kg.) in 154 cm.
