The Zephrr® fabric is the key to the versatility. It's not only highly wind and water-resistant but it's highly breathable too. The Zephrr® fabric is soft and supple plus it's highly compressible too so there's no problem bringing it along for those times when the ride starts out sunny but the weather forecaster promises wet weather. This is a cycling jacket that steps up to the challenge as the conditions dictate, then steps aside for storage that's hardly detectable. The Pearl Izumi Vagabond II men's biking jacket has a clean, fast look, thanks to a semi-form fitting cut and hidden zips on the sleeves. Two front storage pockets offer plenty of room for small necessities.

Great product. Worth the money for sure. A friend recommended this type of shell. I was skeptical when I first saw it. It is so thin. I tried it and love it. It fits well enough that there is no flapping in the wind yet has ample room for layering and ease of movement. I've used it at temps from 44-58 degrees with different layers. It really keeps the wind out. Anything heavier would not have the versatility that this does since you can alter the layers and use it all year round. That's very good value.

It's great! I really like the versatility of this jacket. It seems somewhat breathable but blocks the wind quite well. It fits perfectly...just enough room for a bit of layering, but still streamlined enough to get you though those headwinds. I'd buy it again and certainly recommend it to friends.
