And waterproof all the way up to the collar. Grade 4 mm tapered nylon insole for firm support. Vibram® Thermo 8&$reg153; sole with deep 7mm lugs for snow-tire traction.

Great slush and ice snow shoe I've been wearing these boots everyday for two weeks now and am very satisfied with them. They are perfect for Boston's foot deep snow, or slush. My feet never got cold even in the single digits and howling wind. Ice slush never got in when I stepped in deep ice puddles and the interior stays cool and dry when you enter warm buildings. Overall, these are very worth the price. They are well built and look nice on. Highly recommend.

Great-looking, low-profile boot that has been performing great for warmth and breath ability here in Southern Maine, and it's light weight. The 600 grams total insulation was impossible to beat for this price. Be prepared for a roomy heel area that is a bit loose but surprisingly not bothersome. Walking in them has been comfortable though not as supportive as a Keen for instance. Inserts gave more arch support but did little to fill the loose heels. These would rate excellent if the sizing was brought in line with others' numbers and the heels were a bit more snug. I had to re-order, which Altrec made painless and is THE biggest reason I will buy from them again, next to the fact that they ship first-quality products and don't try to pawn off seconds on you because you are buying through the mail. This is key. Thanks again, Altrec!

Snow Boots I love these boots!' I am physically challenged & tie up boots became very difficult for me to manage. These boots slip on & off & are very easy for me to manage.
