The North Face: Dyad 22 Tent

Built with the same highly wind resistant profile found in the one-person Solo 12, The North Face Dyad 22 Tent is the ideal ultralight design for two. Besides being wider than the Solo 12, the Dyad 22 Tent also offers a little more internal length, so occupants can keep a little more extra gear zipped inside the tent. With 37 inches of headroom, the Dyad is an excellent fastpacking design, especially if you find yourself tangled up in cramped bivy bags and other ultralight tents. Overhead vents and perimeter vents combine to optimize the high-low air flow, although you can cut any excess breeze with the integrated zippers. This is accomplished with The North Face's new Nano-Knuckle Swivel, a durable plastic swivel that's positioned on the top cross pole to improve venting at the top without leaving you exposed to the elements. The durable nylon canopy is fully seam sealed for optimal weather protection, and The North Face tested the slightly smaller Solo 12 in wind tunnel gusts clocked up to 95 mph. Your performance with the Dyad 22 might vary.
