Unbeatable Jacket especially for the price This jacket is lighter and warmer than the Gamma MX (not to mention cheaper). It provides a great range of motion, is virtually waterproof, and is extremely durable.

Nice Looking Jacket - Snug fit, a bit short on the waist, and definitely not as warm as my Columnbia Titanium fleece. I live in Calgary, Alberta and temperature here in the Great White North can fluctuate from -30C to +15C in one day! I read lots of reviews about the G50 from other places before committing to buying this gorgeous looking jacket. People were saying how warm this jacket was and I thought I could replace my Titanium fleece with this one. No way! With the Titanium fleece, I can go out with a layered system down to -15C to -20C. I was feeling a bit chilly with the G50 at around -5C (I'm metric so you'll need to convert to Farenheit). Anyway, I guess this will be my spring, summer, and fall jacket while my Titanium fleece lives for a few more years of abuse. What I like about the G50 is that it looks awesome on a nice looking body : ). It's a good quality jacket and I definitely like having more pockets, which was somewhat missing on my Titanium fleece. The only other thing that I wished the G50 could have are the arm pit zips. I guess I will test to see how breathable this softshell is when I start riding my bike again in the spring. : )

Is this Useful? - Yes - No ( 1 of 1 thought this was useful.)
