While the exterior taping, neck drawcord and one-hand hem drawcord help seal out the elements, the Synchro distinguishes itself with an incredibly lightweight and highly durable design. Mountain Hard Wear shaved ounces by welding the arm and hand pockets instead of using conventional stitching, so the jacket weighs less and protects more than traditional alpine designs.
