Good shoe fit - except around the ankles I like everything about the shoe with one exception - the ankle cutout is too high. These are great shoes. They fit well and feel secure. The sole of shoe has great traction and the portion that cover the toe and heel are great. My only complaint is the cutout for the ankle does not give the ankles enough room. This can be irritating and you must wear a thick enough sock to provide the ankles some protection from over-abrasion.

Amazing I have a slight shoe fetish. I'm most interested in running/active lifestyle shoes. The Merrell brand caught my eye at Dicks and I did some research. These are quite simply the greatest shoes I've ever owned. They are built with a quality and workmanship that I've never experienced before. I did flip out the insoles for replacement ones when I pulled them from the box so I can't speak about the ones that came in the shoes. Merrell seem to have a shoe for every season so it may take a few years but some day all of my shoes will be Merrell instead of adidas for this and nike for that... Outstanding shoes, great company.

Love them. Best multi sport shoe I have ever had. Altrec did outstanding in getting them to me fast. I will be both a Altrec and Merrell return customer. Thanks
