The material offers four-way stretch capability, which along with the gusseted crotch moves with you as you negotiate a tricky fifth class move or aggressive telemark turns. Furthermore, the durable outer face provides a significant wind and water barrier, while the fuzzy inside surface offers just enough insulation to keep you comfortable when you start out in the morning. The Polartec® Power Shield® lightweight's breathability is excellent too, allowing moisture vapor to easily pass to the outside. To reinforce the Arc'teryx Gamma MX pant's durability, both pant legs feature Schoeller® Dynamic instep patches as a safeguard against misguided crampon points, ski edges, and heavy hiking boot soles. The waist area includes a snap closure and waist belt, good features for a secure fit.
