If you live in the desert Southwest, these are perfect. There are very few days in the winter, where I live, that heavy long-underwear is needed. Most days start in the upper 30's and warm up to 55 degrees. I have found this long-underwear to be perfect at keeping my legs warm, but not hot, all day long. They are so light-weight, I don't even feel like I am wearing them.
