Patagonia: Women's Rubicon Jacket

This is a stripped-down, superlight backcountry hard shell for your favorite big-mountain steeps. The Patagonia Women's Rubicon Jacket offers soft and packable convenience with waterproof/breathable protection in unpredictable conditions. The jacket's torso has a supple, brushed polyester grid mesh for light insulation and swift moisture-wicking. The sleeves are lined with smooth mesh for snag-free layering. The contoured hood adjusts two ways to optimize neck mobility. With angled vents at the underarms, a stretch powder skirt with gripper elastic, and multiple pockets, the Rubicon even includes an internal mesh pocket to hold a pair of folded skins. The H2No Storm fabric is Patagonia's proprietary waterproof/breathable barrier. More of a classification than a specific technology, Patagonia shells with H2No Storm utilize a range of laminates and coatings made from varying applications of polyester and/or polyurethane to achieve a standard of waterproof performance and breathability that's best suited for outdoor backcountry applications.
