This straight-cut, 300-weight fleece mitt makes an excellent winter liner in any of ORs shell mitts. The laminated Elastanium palm offers a solid grip when the mitt is used alone, or provides adhesion when mated with a shell. Open, elasticized cuffs work well in conjunction with shells that have a longer gauntlet.

worked great I used these for the first time just yesterday. The condition were typical, moderate snow, 20ish degrees and windy, especially near tree line. My hands were always warm, toasty and dry.

Much better than Polar tech I first looked at the Outdoor Research:PL 300 mitts after the wind was blowing right through the fleece Mitts i recived as a gift a few years ago.The people at Altrec are very helpful,considering my lack of knowlege on this product. The fist time I wore my PL 300 Mitts I instantly learned how fleece Mitts should be. I felt no wind coming through this superior fabric. It allowed me to regain my comfort when treking about, that was lost when wearing a less adequate product.Thank you Altrec staff for warm fingers,hands, and the fleece education. If a person needs to be warmer,Altrec is the Hot spot for you!
