The Chaos adds protection and insulation when conditions get out of control. A weather-resistant shell deflects snow and synthetic loft retains warmth. The deep hood and high collar seal out howling weather, whether you're wearing a helmet or not. It's sized as an over-layer, so it can easily layer over what you're already wearing.

great jacket, the jacket it light, and really warm. It is big and will fit over pretty much anything you have on. I got the green, which is a nice color. It handles the wind beautifully as well and I don't find myself too hot in it at even warm temps. My major concern is with the hood. Its a great hood when needed, but when not in use it can be a little bothersome. Its really a minor criticism. The zippers can be tough too, but that is expected of waterproof zippers. wearing this jacket is a pleasure, when its on i dont want to take it off.
