5 Star Rating for Mountain Hardwear Flip 25/40 Sleeping Bag Mountain Hardwear: Flip 25/40 Sleeping Bag - 1 Reviews

Nice bag! I was a bit concerned at first b/c the bag didn't have a hood. However, it was not a problem b/c there are two drawstrings on the bag which allow one to cinch it up around the neck and shoulder area. I'm 5'11" tall so I purchased a 'regular' size bag. I can scoot down in the bag enough to pull it up around my ears for those chilly fall nights. The first time I used the bag the mercury hit 36 degrees F. I had the bag "Fliped" so that the thicker side was on top. This proved more than enough, in fact I woke up sweating a bit. This was easly to deal with by simply relaxing the fit of the bag around the neck area. The bag is not ultra light but it's not heavy either. I does what it's supposed to do. It packs down to about the size of a small watermelon with a fraction of the weight, obviously!
