Highly Recommended I wore it on several hikes in the Georgia Blue Ridge Mountains. It was very comfortable and none of the other hikers commented on it one way or the other. It's great--give it a try.

Quite versatile The pockets are larger than on my other kilts and the zipper is handy. There is a key clip in the left pocket that is also handy. The material is very comfortable and very lightweight, yet stays put surprisingly well. It is the only kilt I have ever owned that did not require a kilt pin, which is not surprising since it is not wool. The buckles are easy to work with. The only downside is that the modesty snap is very clumsy and takes a minute to get the hang of.

Outstanding practicality Although not always suitable for the weather here in the UK, I have found the mountain kilt to be extremely benficial in hot and humid weather. Its design obviously allows for increased ventilation but in addition the material choices are well made and the quality is good. I can see many years of happy use ahead of me.
