While it seems like every active wear manufacturer has at least a half dozen hoody offerings, Arc'teryx made their Covert Hoody strikingly different with an innovative Polartec® Thermal Pro® sweater knit fabric. The fabric looks like wool but it's easier to launder and doesn't have the permanent stretch concerns. Beneath the sleeves are underarm gussets so you can extend your reach above your head without feeling exposed down along the hem. The Arc'teryx Covert Hoody is functional outerwear for hiking, running and camping in cool weather.

Awesome I just ordered this and I love it. It's not bulky at all, but there is still enough room for a couple layers underneath. The fit is perfect for a woman, especially if she is petite. It also breathes really well -- you stay warm outside, and stay cool inside. I'm sure it will become one of my favorites...it's definitely flattering and functional.

fabulous fleece I bought this last year in the pumpkin pie, and it quickly became my favorite fleece (aside from the maverick sv for really cold weather.) I wear it all the time and haven't had any pilling. It's comfortable under a pack and has survived a lot of abuse. I have a long torso and I wish it was just an inch longer when I bend forward.
