Down to the tiniest detail Crocodile Gaiters have everything that made Outdoor Research Crocodiles the premier gaiters for hiking and climbing for so many years. They're fitted gaiters, but the size is adjustable via the 2"-wide Velcro® front opening. The uppers are Taslan Gore-Tex®, and the tough Cordura® lower part is lined with the packcloth that most gaiters are made of! The strap-and-buckle top closure is very comfortable and is bomber secure when postholing. A double-riveted lace hook and a burly nylon-supported instep strap keep the gaiters firmly attached. We're totally confident that there is no other gaiter anywhere as tough, durable, and easy to use.

1000 denier Cordura® foot section, lined with coated 8 oz. packcloth
Velcro® front closure and shear tab to prevent separation
Field replaceable urethane coated nylon instep strap

Excellent product Super nice, love the OR women's gear. I used the size chart and ordered a medium, but they are a little too baggy. I am about 5 feet tall and the height was OK but cannot cinch them tight enough at top. I am going to try a small. Excellent service from Altrec!

Great product! After trying on numerous gaiters sized for men it was a joy to put on a pair that were sized for a woman's leg. No more baggy and too long gaiters! I still had a little extra width. However, given the opportunity, I'd might buy a small rather than medium. Gaiters need more specs, not just S,M, and L! How about length and max and min circumference. I wore my new gaiters on a 60ish rainy day on the West Highland Way. Not only did they keep mud out of my shoes and off my pants, but my legs didn't sweat buckets.

Very satisfied. This was my first pair of gaiters. So I wanted something I would get a lot of use out of and have for many years. The first time I used them I was satisfied with the materials and workmanship, they are very well made. It was worth the extra money I spent.
