This cap will keep you cool and dry on long, hot hikes thanks to the Coolmax® mesh headband. The breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex® PacLite® fabric keeps the moisture off your skin and the skirt around the neck keeps the sun and water off of your neck. The Outdoor Research Vista Cap™ allows you to adjust the brim and chin cord and flip the skirt up or down to maximize comfort in varying situations.

Great Cap ! Would recommend to anyone who wants a high quality cap, love the chin strap,the winds have a way with nice caps.!Just dont leave i it anywhere, you will NOT see it again.

Good purchase I bought this for my husband for a kayak camping trip, and it definitely saved his ears from burning, has a sturdy brim to hold up in strong winds (adjustable headband keeps hat secure and of course it can't blow away because of the neck strap) and when it rained water beaded on it like it does a waxed car. It will not protect the whole back of your neck, but excellent face, ears and upper neck shade. The only reason I don't give it a 5 is for fashion I guess. He's not crazy about wearing it in public beyond the wilderness, LOL.

vista cap The vista cap has been great.I have a cochlear implant to help me hear and i have to keep it dry,and this is the best item i have found to do this, And it does it nicely. Thanks. The extension is just the perfect lenght and the chin strap is great when it is also windy.
