The dark, polyester cover resists abrasion and UV penetration and dries quickly when exposed to sunlight. When you're ready to go, the Exped Airmat 7.5 mattress deflates quickly and conveniently into a small 8 x 4 in. package that you can attach to an external daisy chain or slip inside a pouch in your mountaineering or expedition backpack.
