Excellent Answer to a Keeping Water frost free OR water bottle holder, inside a backpack, kept water unfrozen for 14 hours in a temperature that did not exceed +7 degrees F.

It keeps water cold It really is nice for hikes, because it keeps water cold!!!

good investment I bought two for my winter seminar on Mt. Rainier and am glad I did! Not only did it keep my drinks from freezing (as some of my team member's drinks did) but the large velcro straps made it easy to keep the bottles attached to my pack thereby freeing up my side pockets for other items such as snacks
