Patagonia's highly compressible Micro Puff Pants offer an exceptional warmth-to-weight profile with a highly compressible design that keeps you warm even when you're soaked. It's windproof, water-resistant and filled with synthetic hollow filament Polarguard® Delta insulation, the kind of stuff that keeps insulating through a cold deluge or two. Like heavier climbing pants, the seat, cuffs and articulated knees are reinforced for extended wear, although you may require a pant with heavier fabric for strenuous applications like ice climbing or cold weather bouldering. While Patagonia's super-lightweight Micro Puff Vest sacrifices a lot of features to shave ounces, the Micro Puff Pants retain the stuff that matters, including full-length side zippers, elasticized snap cuffs and a zippered fly. It's one of the lightest well-equipped pants you'll find on the trail or summit.
