The soft suede leather styling and plush fleece collar on the Sorel Waterfall™ make it easy to overlook the waterproof seam-sealed construction, but this boot is built to keep your feet dry and warm--even all the way down to -40ºF. A locking zipper on the lateral side ensures a proper fit to keep your toes comfortably enveloped in a soft layer of fast-drying Thinsulate™ Ultra insulation. The rubber cupsole tread helps keep you balanced on a variety of frozen surfaces but unlike Sorels of old, the sole is completely non-marking, so you can walk across untracked white indoor floors without leaving a trace.

Waterfall snow boots These boots are just fabulous! So warm and comfortable. It has been an unusually cold and snowy winter here in Colorado, which is what prompted me to purchase these boots. I just love them! FYI...after reading the reviews about these boots on Altrec's website, I ordered an 8 1/2, but ended up having to order a size 8, which is what I normally wear in a shoe and/or boot.

Sending back I do not like these boots at all. They may keep your feet warm but they're very heavy and very uncomfortable. I'm sending them back.

Definately warm and dry but not wide enough at the calf portion Really good boots. I walked in about 5 inches deep snow and they still kept my feet WARM AND DRY!!!! My only complain is that they are not wide enough at the calf. I can barely get the zipper to close especially if I am putting them even over narrow jeans. Also I ordered 1/2 size bigger reading previous reviews and that was the right thing to do.
