I love this pack This thing is very comfortable. I have been using this pack for 3 years, I use it when riding my motorcycle to work, the aircomfort keeps my shirt back dry on the hot sunny days, and when I use it on long rides I throw in a hydration pouch and whatever else I may need like rain gear or different glasses and I just cruise. There is also plenty of room to throw my half shell helmet in it if I need somewhere to put it. I also use it on long bicycle rides, I carry a hydration pouch and snacks for everyone in the group without a pack. I have often used my pack as a carry-on on flights, the side mesh pouches fit water bottles perfect and thanks to the aircomfort it doesn't smell like I use it for everything I do like other packs, so nobody on the plane knows any better. This pack is big enough that it doesn't look goofy on a bigger guy like me yet small enough to look right on my petite girlfriend. I love it and will buy another if this thing ever wears out, it looks like new for how much it is used and it's been washed a time or two when I got into the mud. Did I mention how comfortable it is?

Awesome I have had a Northface recon as my day pack for 3 years. After spending a week in the Smokeys dayhiking, I decided that sweating down my back was for the birds. I saw this backpack while I was staying down there and even tried it on. It does sit higher on my back and but that was an easy trade off. My back is much better vented. This back pack has just as many pockets and even has a divided main compartment (you can unzip the inside and make it one compartment. I only have 16 miles on it so far, but it seems superior to the Northface in comfort. It has 1700ci compared to 1850 from my Northface and I haven't missed it so far. I will be donating my old pack to my son soon.

Great pack This pack is fantastic. I use it for riding to work and my back stays nice and cool. I also took it on my 2 week holiday to New York. The pack worked fantastic. I kept city maps on the outside pockets. I put clothes in the bottom compartment and camera stuff in the top. I even used the rain cover one day when hurricane Ivan was passing by. The only bad thing is this pack is a little bulky/heavy because of the design. It is also not an efficient for stuffing lots into it because the air space takes up some room. The suspension is very comfortable, but I had to adjust the hip belt so it sat correctly or I got some back pain or the top of my butt would get hit by the bottom frame. Overall, this pack has everything I wanted and at a fantastic price.

Is this Useful? - Yes - No
