Excellent for climbing, skiing, backpacking, traveling and snowboarding in windswept and exposed landscapes, the Transition Featherweight Zip T is just as light and breathable as other lightweight base layers, but the WindStopper® N2S Featherweight shell fabric has a windproof Gore WindStopper® laminate to effectively neutralize cold air penetration. The articulated cut combined with the snug and stretchy Push Pull knit fabric along the cuffs, sides and hem help seal in body heat without the bunching and binding sometimes found in middle layers designed with a relaxed cut.
