They are great when your regular paddling shoe won't fit The have much more support than the rodeo socks when walking on rocks or standing in the current

I like 'em A littly cushier on the sole than I was expecting. That extra is welcomed when walking around outside the kayak. I used to wear rodeo socks, but I think that I've made a good switch.
