More coverage than the aveage ear band Very well made band. More ear/head coverage than most brands. I thought the large was "larger" than most. Almost too large for my 7 1/2 melon. Very much worth the money.

The ear gear protected my ears from the wind and snow The ear gear protected my ears from the wind and snow, but it kept coming off under my helmet. If wearing it, wear it by itself.
