Suunto: X-Lander Watch

The Suunto X-Lander is your ultimate expedition watch. The altimeter option displays your current altitude with vertical ascent/descent rate in meters per minute or feet per minute. It also records altitudes for measuring progress between stages and has an automatic 24-hour altitude memory with a logbook for altitude, ascent/descent rate information and cumulative ascent/descent measurements. The barometer displays the atmospheric pressure (mbar/inHg) as well as the temperature. It also records the differences in measurements so you can quickly follow changes between barometric pressure and temperature during your outings. An automatic four-day memory records atmospheric pressure information and the watch features an adjustable sea-level pressure function. The compass function displays your bearing in degrees and features a north-south arrow. There are also options for bearing tracking and a declination adjustment. The waterproof aluminum casing features an extra-durable mineral crystal glass and a carbon fiber back. A tough leather band adds the perfect touch of class, making this watch ideal for those brief forays into the urban jungle, too.
